About DÒKLA 
 
Dòkla is a web platform that allows patient to quickly find a professional of health or a health service and can then take an appointement online directly on the schedule of said professional or service. Dòkla also allows a practitionner to change the way he manages his clinic, reduced a number of missed appointements and improve his visibility. 

In 2014, the mother of our CEO Madsen W. SERVIUS died prematurely for two main reasons: first, the family could not locate the Haitian specialist who could intervene on his case. Second, the physician she had been able to see did not have the patient's medical history. Since then, Madsen promised to solve the problem of access to health information in Haiti?
Following the launch of the InnovaTIC 2018 competition, Madsen formed a team to set up the project. We were among the six (6) finalists of the contest. Since then, we are 7 teammates - national and international - working hard to offer the general public this innovative solution.
We want this project to solve five (5) major problems of the Haitian health system:

   1)  the difficult location of health services in Haiti
    2) the puzzle of the process of making appointments with the doctor finally found.
    3) the unavailability of the patient's medical history or its loss
    4) the disrespect on the part of the patient of prescriptions and appointments of his doctor
    5) difficulty in identifying pharmacies where certain medications are available

We are certain that this is a long-term job, but are determined to offer Haitian society an alternative.
